Will it Hurt?

Is There a Cheaper Alternative?
The short answer is no. Botox® is the gold standard of neuromodulators. Be wary of any heavily discounted products, for they may not be regulated or contain the purified protein that makes Botox® work. Unregulated products may also contain non-sterile ingredients. As you can imagine, unregulated products can cause disastrous side effects including, but not limited to infection, paralysis, or even death.

What to Expect When I Get Botox® at First Impressions?

After double-checking the treatment areas and numbing the injection site if desired, you may feel a very slight pinch as your practitioner injects the Botox® into your skin. Depending on your treatment area, you will receive anywhere from 3 to 5 Botox® injections. After treatment, the affected area may swell slightly or appear red, but this is perfectly normal. Side effects are mild. Some patients have reported slight bruising, headache, or transient numbness. If you experience any serious side effects, contact your practitioner right away.
Treatment takes about 10-15 minutes. After treatment, you can resume your daily activities, even returning to work if you choose to get your Botox® treatment during your lunch break! It is that swift and convenient.
